After personal experiences with his grandparent, Karl realized that healthcare was simply not optimized for the complexities of aging. Founded in 2021, DUOS was created to form trusted relationships with older adults using technology and community to support fulfilling lives at home.

Before DUOS Karl Ulfers was the CEO of Rally Health, where he started to notice the needs of the aging population. More than 20 million consumers currently have access to the Rally platform.
