Best in Road Analytics: Cambridge Mobile Telematics’ Hari Balakrishnan

In this episode, we speak with Hari Balakrishnan, the Founder and CTO of Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), the world’s leading telematics and analytics provider for insurers, rideshares, and fleets.

CMT was founded in 2012 based on research at MIT.  It subsequently received significant backing from SoftBank Vision Fund.  CMT’s platform uses innovative mobile sensing, statistics, AI, and behavioral science to accurately measure driving quality, improve driving behavior, and help people in car crashes with real-time assistance.

Hari has been a professor at MIT since 1998.  He also co-founded StreamBase Systems, which was acquired by TIBCO.
